Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health, a physician-founded and physician-led organization, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the Emergency Departments at Franciscan Health Michigan City, Franciscan Health Chesterton, and Franciscan Health LaPorte.

This opportunity offers a high-volume Emergency Medicine practice environment with strong physician and APP support, flexible scheduling options, Epic EMR, and a productivity-based RVU compensation structure designed to reward efficiency and clinical excellence across multiple facilities within a respected regional health system. The ideal provider will distribute their clinical time between all three facilities in Michigan City, Chesterton, and LaPorte, supporting a collaborative regional Emergency Medicine program.

Clinical & Program Details

• Approximately 31,00033,000 ED visits annually
• Approximately 85 patient encounters per day
• Multi-site coverage opportunities within the Franciscan Health system
• 23-bed Emergency Department
• 36 hours/day physician coverage
• 24 hours/day NP/PA coverage
• Epic EMR
• Strong specialty backup and collaborative APP support
• Moderate- to high-acuity patient population

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
• ACLS and ATLS required
• Comfortable practicing in a high-volume Emergency Department environment
• Team-oriented with a strong focus on quality patient care
