- Emergency Medicine Research Director
Description
The Research Director will report directly to the Emergency Medicine Program Director and will provide leadership and oversight of the research mission for the Department. This involves overseeing the scholarly and research programs for faculty, fellows, residents, and students. The role of this leader will be to not only be a productive researcher, but to mentor faculty and trainees to enhance the culture of research and scholarship in this Department. The Director will also be charged with expansion of the Department’s investigative research and extramural funding portfolios.
Applicants must be EM residency trained and ABEM/AOBEM certified
Fellowship or master's degree in clinical research required
Approximately 5 years of clinical research experience preferred
Active role in clinical medicine through the provision of providing direct patient care
Qualifications as outlined in the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or appropriate accrediting body requirements
